Fun concept!
It took me a while to link the helicopter with the fish - I guess an alternative edit is instead of all the takeoff, then swim-flight, then land (the crash scenes were cute!), do takeoff-fly-swim-land a few times. And the fish bumping into something?

What are you shooting with?

Thank you. Scenes with fishes was shooted with a GoPro wideangle, some in a small fountain and some in a swimming pool. The scenese to the flying drone with a Sony camera while the scenes on-the-fly with the GoPro camera on the drone (custom adaption)

The crash scenes unfortunately are not "special effects", I decided to add the at the end as a sort of backstage of the dream. Also your suggestion is interesting. Hopefully, I expect to have no more crash scenes in future :D

Thanks for all that info - I like to have a feel for how - and -why - people do things.

You really managed cool footage from the drone! I thought that was simulated by you walking/ skating/ ... through the park.

Thanks !

I worked a lot making a customized version of the drone, due it is interesting for low cost and wifi control. But has almost a low payload (experienced abut 100 gr.) Then The difficult is to drive it while it is loaded because it reduce its manoeuvrability. I have a plan to make more efficient works with the drone with some further modifications.

If you are interested you can take a look to the following tests:

Pure tests are here: [link] and [link]

Some details on the drone hacking can be found in the following images:

At last, I've had a chance to look at some of this. That drone mounted GoPro offers some stunning opportunities! It may not have the maneuverability of the unladen drone, but stuff you could do. Hi-shots, swept stuff... I can just see it running up a stream in a forest (on a still day!). A little CGI in Blender, and you could have a dragon flying through your back streets!

Have fun - I am now watching!

Thank you for the support. I perfectly agree with you about this. I have discovered the joined potentiality of the drone and the gopro with its strange wide angle, a 170 deg no-fish eye lens...

I see that today all the people are focused to the Gopro in sports, also due to big sponsors but there is a lot of arts possibilities. This is sure a project that I can't abandon. Now I had to work very hard last months on another project, but I always try to involve art, free expression and creative commons ( ;) ) in what I do. If you take a look to www.ibizasocialprinters.com you can see that there are lot of interesting possibilities on silly printers too. I live in Ibiza a isle where it is almost spring. So there is not bad season and I plan in very few time (yst finish these jobs that should be paid) to complete the drone project. I have also new motors and new batteries for better performances also with the payload of the serious camera. The drone has a sort of cam itself but it is just like a bottom of glass ... I think I move to GoPro 3 as the next planned drone experiments will work, because it is ligh weight respect this GoPro cam version 2, that is about 90 Grams.

If you are interested I will update you asap about progress (hopefully).
